"Robert Smith doesn't need a concert hall
and a grand piano to melt your heart when he puts his
heart and soul onto the keys and plays whether from his
own original composition or a rendition of classics from
legendary pianist, singer, songwriter, Elton John and
the likes.
A computer engineering student at MTSU, and a self
taught pianist, Smith's instrumental pieces are a mix of
classical and contemporary styles, but what is most
significant about them to me, is the emotions it invokes
as you listen to it. It is not an overstatement to say
that it is indescribable, as I am trying so hard to
search for words to describe that feeling. Sometimes,
just the notes bring more meaning than actual lyrics.
Already having a number of compositions under his belt,
Smith is looking to produce his debut album by 2008. I
will definitely be on the lookout for that."
